Emotional compositions, realistic, powerful, people and faces painted with fine strokes that are overlaid with abstract objects, characterize her current works. The artist‘s ambition is to create touching works of art that develop into childlike, naive stories filled with lightness, but at the same time carry something very melancholy within them.

The portrait, often a child, serves as a projection surface for the stories in her large-format oil paintings. Sometimes self-deprecating, sometimes with a wink, but always looking at the world with a critical eye. You could be forgiven for thinking that two people are involved in each work of art. One is the adult self and the other the child self.
